Rankforge: Minecraft Rank Tag Generator

Make pixel-perfect rank tags for your server in minutes, then download a resource pack that’s ready to install.

Rankforge is a simple tool that runs offline in your browser. Design every rank tag for your server, see how they look in chat and the tab list as you go, and download everything in one click: the resource pack, the PNGs, or files for ItemsAdder, Oraxen or Nexo.

There’s nothing to install and no web server to set up. Unzip it, double-click index.html, and start.

Six tag designs

Pick a look and every rank follows it, so your tags always match.

• Classic: build your own with sharp, rounded or pill corners, borders and a shine
• Framed: a light frame with a darker base
• Bevel: a near-black outline with a light inner ring
• Plate: a chunky 3D button
• Arrow: pointed ends
• Outline: a coloured ring around a dark middle

Every design keeps your rank’s own colours and gradients.

Full colour control

• Solid, 2-colour or 3-colour gradient backgrounds, running left to right, top to bottom or diagonally
• Gradient text
• A built-in colour picker with HEX and RGB boxes, plus quick colours
• Text shadow, bold text and capital letters

A pixel font made for Minecraft

Rankforge draws tags in its own pixel font, sized to match the game’s text, so each tag looks sharp at its real size. Height and padding can be changed for every tag at once.

See it before you export

• A large zoomable preview (4×, 8×, 12×) on dark, light or transparent backgrounds
• Chat preview and tab list preview showing all your ranks over a Minecraft-style background

Every rank in one project

• Add, duplicate, reorder and delete ranks
• Start from a ready-made set: full server (8 ranks), staff ranks or store ranks
• Your work saves automatically, and projects can be saved and reopened as files

One-click exports

The plugin downloads include a HOW-TO-INSTALL.txt. The Export tab also gives copy-ready LuckPerms prefix commands and lets you choose the pack version (1.20 to 1.21.4), namespace, folder, and the first character tags are numbered from.

You can use the tags you make on any server you run, or sell them and use them in client work. You can’t resell, share or re-upload Rankforge itself.
